Special episodes are those that are part of the "expanded universe" of ASSIST ME! Although they feature characters from the series, they are not considered part of the canon unless otherwise noted. For example, Doom and Wesker Watch Resident Evil 6 Trailer 2 is referenced during the "last time on ASSIST ME!" segment of the Phoenix episode, to show that Wesker has left the apartment.
While certain events depicted in special episodes obviously affect the characters, the special episodes are not considered part of any season.
