Character OriginsEdit

Thanos was one of the last sons of A'Lars, progenitor of the second colony of Eternals on Titan, and Sui-San, the last survivor of the original settlement of Eternals on Titan. Born with grey, hide-like skin and a massive body due to being born with the Deviant Syndrome, Thanos was a morose child who became obsessed with the concept of death. Through bionic implementation and long hours of meditation, Thanos augmented his Eternal strength and powers so that his powers surpassed those of all other Titanian Eternals. As he grew in power, Thanos also grew in ambition and desire for conquest. Thanos stole one of his people's starships and traveled to other star systems to recruit soldiers, mercenaries, and malcontents for a private army. With a small fleet, he dropped nuclear devices on his home world Titan, killing thousands of his people, including his mother Sui-San. Declaring himself ruler of Titan, he then set his sights on Earth.

BackgroundEdit

Deal with DoomEdit

In exchange for what he believed to be new Infinity Gems, Thanos traded the Infinity Gauntlet to Doom. Doom scammed Thanos giving him Cross-Gauge and Defense gems from Street Fighter X Tekken, thinking that it would take weeks for Thanos to realize they were useless to him. However, Thanos caught on quick and chased Doom down as he spoke with Max at the Twin Plums mall. Using the Infinity Gauntlet, Doom and Max were able to leap back in time to escape Thanos.

1997Edit

Max and Doom, trapped in the year 1997, realized that the best way to get back to their own time was to get a Time Gem from Thanos. They confronted the Titan at a Marvel Super Heroes arcade tournament, and Doom wagered that Max would beat him. The conditions of the bet were that if Max won, Thanos would have to give them a Time Gem, and if Thanos won, Max would be his slave.

Thanks to much practice leading up to the tournament, Max was able to win. Thanos gave him the Time Gem, but quickly turned on Max and Doom in a rage, threatening to kick Max in the nuts forever due to Max beating him with an infinite. Fortunately for Max, he and Doom escaped the wrath of the Mad Titan.

Altered PresentEdit

When Max and Doom arrived back in the year 2012, they met Thanos in the same parking lot he had chased them through previously. However, he spoke to them in a cheerful tone and even told them they could keep using the Infinity Gauntlet. After he left, Max realized that they had altered the time-continuum, which must have changed Thanos.

Restored TimelineEdit

Shortly after Max and Doom returned to the repaired future, Thanos reclaimed the Infinity Gauntlet from Doom.

Abilities and SkillsEdit

Thanos has the ability to manipulate energy on the cosmic level, despite Doom's belief that without the Infinity Gauntlet, he is useless. His power has manifested in the form of explosions caused by the snapping of his fingers, which was merely done as a warning to Max and Doom.
